Regan Williams is CEO of Seen&Heard, an organization she co-founded which seeks to develop the professional character of foster and system-impacted youth ages 16-23. Since its launch in 2019, Seen&Heard has grown in size and impact, and last year the organization served a total of 136 youth, and graduated 29 youth from its professional development program.

Lindsay Elliott Executive Director of Happy Trails for Kids has volunteered extensively with the organization, and more recently, serving as a board member, Lindsay is deeply committed to providing enriched life experiences and a meaningful sense of community and stability to youth navigating the child welfare system through the programs offered by Happy Trails for Kids. Under her leadership, Happy Trails has championed the advancement of extracurricular access for children experiencing foster care. Ms. Elliott, in collaboration with her colleagues, has expanded overnight camp adventures, year-round programming and launched specialized initiatives that help young people develop new skills and increase positive relationships. Our featured guest Cassie Betts founded a fashion-tech company called District2.co in 2013. District2 helped to connect fashion designers with local apparel manufacturers. Cassie is the host of a live radio show turned podcast called talktechto.me that airs every Saturday 12pm Pacific on KBLA Talk 1580. Forbes dubbed her “The Woman Turning South LA into Startup Land”. She is the catalyst and visionary behind South LA’s first Best Buy Teen Tech Center. She is the Founder and CEO of Made In South LA- MISLA.

MISLA is part Digital Learning Academy and part software development agency, under the District2.co umbrella that trains and hires youth + adults in high-paying skill sets such as software engineering, web design, content creation, and digital marketing.

Cassie is also Chief Innovation Officer of CEDC/ IMHP, working on almost a dozen more tech centers that will bring economic growth and workforce development to disinvested communities throughout the world with focus on economic/ workforce development and smart city infrastructures.
