  • AFooW-001: Prologue, Scene 1
    Oct 14 2021

Reading of A Fish out of Water: Prologue - Scene 001. These readings are to gain an audience and find support as I finish my book (planned for the end of 2021). I'll read the book thus far, scene by scene, and make new recordings daily. Hopefully I'll get better at it as I go along ;)

I believe creative goods should be free, so I provide them here at no cost. If you like what I do, please consider supporting me, either here on Patreon, or else through PayPal (see below). Here you can choose from 1 of 7 tiers (Pet, Pub, Civil, Pirate, Com, Angel, Stakeholder) and support ranges between 1 and 7 dollars (USD) a month. Each tier gets you access to ad-free content, and, starting at Pirate and above, you'll also get acknowledgement on my website decent.rabbl.org. I'll also be providing patrons with early content (such a as rough draft of the manuscript), and I am open to adding other benefits, if you ask :)

My dream is to be a writer, to live from what I write. Paying me will help me achieve that dream, first by supporting me as I finish my book, including any proofreading and publishing fees later down the road. It will also allow me to buy better equipment (right now I am recording everything on my phone). There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of hours in writing and researching behind what I write, work that has yet (as of this writing) to earn me a dime. I don't do it for the money; I do it for the love of writing, and I know I'd be lucky to get paid for doing what I love.

By the way, I also do other work for a living! I am a proofreader, copywriter, and Cambridge CELTA-trained English teacher. You can check out all my English Language Services on offer at https://finaldraft.cc (available in English and German).

    Thank you for you time.

    With love,

    LA
