The underlying conditioning in our culture is to settle down, get married, and have a family. This starts the moment we are born! Fairy tales are loaded with concepts of finding a prince charming to save you, and make you happy for the rest of your life.

However, not everyone wants to live this life. Some people have no interest in marriage and choose to live a life of "Single-Hood." Today let's explore the opportunities a single life brings.

1. First, we'll look at the conditioned expectation of marriage. Whether you realize it or not, there is a strong conditioning within the collective that everyone should strive to find a life long partner and have children.
2. Next, what opportunities does the single life bring you. For those of you that are happy on your own, what doors open in your life to help you re-discover who you truly are?
3. Lastly, let's look at how you have the power to live the life you choose!

No matter what society or others may say, you can live a beautiful single life and find all the joy, love, and happiness within yourself! No. one else can give you something that is already there! Living single gives you the chance to go deeply within yourself and discover who you really are!

Let's look at expectations and outcomes, how much are you attached to an image you are creating of yourself in the future? The ego mind loves to create better versions of itself on a regular basis. It is constantly putting up a better version of itself, or at least attempting to so it doesn't have to accept who you are NOW.

This distraction keeps you from seeing the beautiful you that is always there. The spiritual essence that lies beneath the body and your attachment to the identity self.

What would life be like if you dropped any future expectation or image of yourself? What would it be like to erase any expectation or image you think you should or shouldn't be? Maybe the doors will open into infinite possibilities and life will lead you to places you never imagined.

Discovering your true spiritual nature, or the superconscious mind, can be challenging due to the ego's dominance. The many layers of the mind easily distract you from seeing the larger essence of who you are.

Many speak of eliminating the ego, befriending the ego, ignoring the ego, but what about learning to identify when you are listening to your ego? How do you know if you are in your ego mind or your spiritual mind?

Let's spend today's show defining the difference between the small (ego) mind and large (spiritual) mind and how you can begin to see the difference in your daily life. Once you see the difference, it becomes much easier to choose how you wish to perceive any given situation.

1. The mind as a mental construct and how it operates.
2. The unconscious and conscious ego mind.
3. The spiritual mind or the superconscious.
4. How to tell the difference between the ego mind and the spiritual mind so you can begin to choose how you wish to perceive your life.

Becoming aware of the many layers of the ego mind, as well as the higher vibration of the larger mind can shift your hectic life into a peaceful one.
