To start off this podcast and first season, I take a deep dive where it all began: Fear and Desire (1952), the first film directed by the one and only Stanley Kubrick. Set on an unknown date in an unknown country, four soldiers are trapped in a forest after their plane crashed six miles behind the enemy line. On their way to safety, the four soldiers must confront their most nightmarish enemies, themselves.
