Happy Monday and welcome back, we hope you had a great Christmas! We start a little slow this week as Lauren and Brittney are both suffering from the gunk going around but we just tell you how we spent our holidays and what we feel so thankful for receiving on this holiday season.
(8:14) We are doing something a little different today, instead of talking about some things going on In The Headlines, Lauren is going to give us all the details on the shooting of the United Healthcare CEO that was gunned down outside of a Hilton in New York and the man that the police believe to be their number 1 suspect, Luigi Mangione. Lauren is going to tell you how the police came to arrest him and discuss why this took the internet by storm. If you haven't heard of this, you probably don't have social media but don't worry, we got you covered as we jump into this topic heavy and try to understand both sides. Luigi Mangione is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and deserves to stand a fair trial.
(51:33) Lauren tells us about the case of Amanda Waller a 28 year old that could light up any room she walked into, Amanda and her husband plan a trip with a big group of people and head to Curacao. Amanda went out snorkeling and signals to some friends she is going into shore, but she never made it. What happened to Amanda?

In 2010 Monica spent her birthday in Cancun with her husband and 2 kids. Monica was from Brazil and her husband who found success in reality tv was from New Jersey and the two were very different but it worked up until 2009. This family vacation was not only for Monicas birthday but to rekindle their marriage. Instead this was a trip Monica would not return from. After wrapping up that madness Lauren tells us about the case of Leta Cordes (27:56) a bomb shell of a woman, single mother that had a bright future in rock and roll, until she gave it all up for a man. The love of her life Frank Cordes, from Germany, they were 7 years apart, Leta being his senior. The two fell in love and built a life together and after some highs and lows built a vacation home in St Maarten. After celebrating the holidays on January 11, 2008 Leta goes for a walk headed to gamble at the casino or so says Frank, she is never seen or heard from again. What happened to Leta Cordes?
