• Office Space
    Jan 29 2025

Let's talk about Mike Judge's Office Space, a movie that hits a bit harder now than it did when we were teenagers. From the monotony of office life to yearning for more, Office Space ages with its audience in a good way. It is not the greatest comedy of all time, but it has held up and we have a good time talking about it while lamenting the reality that not everybody lives the dream. Plenty of tangents and laughs as well, as is tradition. Deeper and deeper!

  • SIN CITY
    Jan 15 2025

Let's take a trip to SIN CITY, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller (with a dash of Tarantino) bring the violence, sex, and chaos from pages to screen, and we talk about it all, including our love for Carla Cugino, our favorite stories, and how absurd Nick Offerman looks. A wild episode for a wild movie.

Nice set of hooters ya got there. We take a trip back to 1994, the year of Jim Carrey, and revisit one of his three hits of that year, the classic, Dumb and Dumber. One of the most quotable comedies of all time, we dig into what made this roadtrip buddy-comedy unique and last all these years later.

    Dec 11 2024

Bring your ludes, its time for debauchery as we talk about Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street. Leonardo Dicaprio leads the way, giving Marty his highest grossing movie of all time, which launched the career of Margot Robbie. We both can't stand Jonah Hill though, sorry in advance for big fans of his.

    Nov 21 2024

Jeremy London's performance aside, Mallrats is still a lot of fun. We revisit Kevin Smith's second movie which takes his style and puts a comicbook lens over it. Jason Lee's breakout performance is really what puts this movie on the map and keeps it there, though we reflect fondly on classic bits from Jay and Silent Bob too. Feel free to listen to this episode in the back of a Volkswagen.

King Kong aint got s*** on this podcast! We're talking Training Day, where it took Denzel Washington playing a really bad dude to earn him a best actor Oscar. But what was the secret sauce to making this movie standout above the rest of its kind? Did you know Eminem was offered the role of Jake? Ethan Hawke might have saved the...Training Day, baby?

  • Casino Royale (2006)
    Oct 23 2024

Our second venture in James Bond movies takes us to Daniel Craig's debut, the reboot Casino Royale. A fresh take on the character while restoring that classy, classic feel of old Bond films. Of course, plenty of tangents along the way including wondering what is wrong with guys who don't find Amanda Seyfried attractive, even though she has absolutely nothing to do with this movie.

Journey with us back to 1979 as we talk about the movie that launched Sigourney Weaver's career and put Ridley Scott on the map as a director to pay attention to. ALIEN might not have aged all that great, but its legacy stands as a very influential movie that had influences of its own. Lot of fun tangents on this one. What's the difference between a Diddy party and a James Cameron party? We'll get there.
