• Retirement with Rodger Friedman
    Jan 29 2025

Retirement seems like everyone's goal, and yet it feels like no one has a solid plan. And moreover, why do we trust ourselves to manage these critical accounts without any education?

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts. My guest today is Rodger Friedman. Rodger has over four decades of experience, with high level positions at some of the largest wealth managers in the world. That's all to say that he's very knowledgeable when it come to finding a clear path to a pain free retirement. This one took a whole lot of editing to even out the audio recording issues we faced, and you might even sporadically hear it get totally clear, but it's far from perfect. I just hope you enjoy it all.

    ( Www.MagicMind.Com/Dumb20 ) ( Www.EOCritic.Com ) ( https://www.linkedin.com/in/rodger-friedman-crpc%C2%AE-1300903a/ )

    Let's plan to quit!

Can you consider yourself retired if you only work on what you love to do? Maybe that's the next goal.

In other news... January is almost over with the following rankings:

    1. England of the United Kingdom, winning the top spot! 2. The United States, with California, New York, and Texas still in that order. 3. Australia, with Queensland dominating from start to finish. 4. Canada, with Ontario beating British Columbia to win. 5. Ghana, holding off Ireland.

That's it for this week! Have a great week, a great weekend, and I'll see you all back here next week for another new episode! Until the next episode, pretty please do all the things to help the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. • Historical Fiction with B McGraw
    Jan 15 2025

So many people love history, and so many others love fiction; it's no wonder that this Venn diagram overlaps at some point, but I'm almost surprised it's not bigger.

Happy New Years and Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is B McGraw. Roman history nerds rejoice as McGraw writes about the year of the four emperors, 69AD. But here's the deal, historical record only covers so much of the story; so McGraw filled in the gaps with what he thought summed up a humorous emperor's rise to power, then modernized the language so it doesn't read like a boring textbook. In short: He made it up. However, you would actually learn about history if you read his book, making historical fiction a very interesting category.

( Www.MagicMind.Com/Dumb20 ) ( Www.JABDE.Com ) ( https://a.co/d/gQiOywm will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "69: Part 1: The Fake it Till ya Make it Emperor" ) ( https://a.co/d/6WrfpZ1 will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "Et al.: Because not all research deserves a Nobel Prize" )

Let's fake it till we make it!

I want to learn history in basically only this fashion from now on. It very much reminds me of Iconoblast where they were about 90% accurate and 10% nonsense.

In other news... January is looking promising with the following rankings:

    1. England of the United Kingdom, holding an unusual top spot. 2. The United States, with California, New York, and Texas still leading. 3. Australia, with Queensland still dominating the others so far. 4. Canada, with Ontario and Quebec neck and neck. 5. Ghana, dethroning Ireland.

That's it for this week! Have a great week, a great weekend, and I'll see you all back here next week for another new episode! • Garage Sales & eBay with Aaron LaPedis
    Jan 7 2025

The rapid growth of eBay from 1995 on made many people rich; even so there are still an estimated 9 million garage sales in America every year, totaling roughly 2 billion dollars in unreported and untaxed income.

Happy New Years and Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Aaron LaPedis. Aaron is known as the "Garage Sale Millionaire", because he literally financed his first business with nothing but savvy bargaining and deal hunting. He's here to share the ways you can horn in on this tax-free game, and how you can make the most doing it. It also helps to when you find yourself needing to declutter the living space, and the extra cash is a bonus. Sorry for the echo at the beginning of the interview and the internet connection issues throughout, my guest has a set up for giving recorded talks and not interviews, but I straightened the audio out as much as possible. Also, just lastly, A huge thanks to everyone down in Sacramento who made it possible to get on stage with Steve Byrne, on of my all time favorite comics.

( Www.MagicMind.Com/Dumb20 ) ( Www.TheGarageSaleMillionaire.Com ) ( Www.eBay.Com ) ( https://a.co/d/3qMpcIj will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "How to Become a Garage Sale Millionaire: Make Money on eBay, Online Marketplaces, Auctions, and Everything in Between" )

Let's sell our junk to get rich!

I'm probably the worst type of collector, because I either save my favorite things and keep them safe, or give them away to people who i know will love them. So I never make money on my collections.

In other news... 2025 has begun, and here's some all new ranking for a new year:

    1. England of the United Kingdom, working with Scotland to make a big statement. 2. The United States, with New York, California, and Texas out front. 3. Canada, with Ontario at a small lead. 4. Australia, with Queensland dominating the others so far. 5. Ireland, dethroning Ghana.

  • Self-Sabotage with Philip Agrios
    Jan 1 2025

There are only six people in the world, or so my expert today claims. Although it's probably more accurate to say six types of people, and my expert would accuse me of oversimplifying.

Happy New Years and Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Phillip Agrios. This clearly superior Doctor Phil is here to share his three decade journey that led him to the root of self-sabotage. He presents his findings and helpful wisdom on what we are all doing wrong, including me.

    ( Www.TranscendNow.Biz ) ( Www.TNowMasterclass.Com ) ( Www.TheTNowMethod.Com ) ( https://a.co/d/3swBE6n will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "Life's One Law: Nature's Blueprint for Repeatable Success in Life and Business" )

    Let's stop the sabotage.

Honestly, Dr. Phil is a fun guy, but seemed a bit hesitant to give away much of his system. That might be because if we could figure it out, we wouldn't need to pay for the coaching. But it's impossible to know.

In other news... 2025 is here as of tomorrow, and I'm a little shocked that it has gone by so quickly. Last rankings of the year:

    1. The United States, with Oregon, California, and Texas out front. 2. England of the United Kingdom. 3. Australia, with Queensland edging out New South Wales. 4. Canada, with Ontario holding the crown. 5. Ghana, having spent most of 2024 up in the top 5.

That's it for this week and year! Have a great week, a great weekend, and I'll see you all back here next week for another new episode! • I Can Mentality with Christine Schaffer
    Dec 24 2024

So many people say out loud that they can’t make a change in their life, and mentally they say it far more often.

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Christine Schaffer. Christine knows what it's like to go without, and what rock bottom looks like from several unfortunate life experiences. She's here today to share what got her through, how she found success, and how she can help you to find the optimistic side of any challenge.

Just give this one a couple tries as the episode wraps up. I CAN eat better! I CAN achieve my fitness goals! I CAN leave a review for this podcast!

In other news... Christmas is tomorrow, and the kids getting the best gifts are in the following places:

    1. The United States, with Oregon, California, and Texas out front. 2. England of the United Kingdom. 3. Australia, with Queensland still barely at the top. 4. Canada, with Ontario now leading. 5. Ghana.

I'm not saying everyone not on that list is getting coal, but certainly a few are.

  • How to Brag Properly with Winifred Bragg
    Dec 17 2024

As humans, we want to impress people that we admire or find impressive. The problem is that our modern view of bragging is basically narcissism, where one person acts like a gift to the world and hopes the other agrees. But it requires more finesse, and little something that can stick with these people even after they meet a hundred more.

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Doctor Winifred Bragg. Dr Bragg has over 25 years of experience in pain management, and she knows now that there is no pain more universal than a lack of self-confidence and self-value. In responses to these pains and more Winifred has written five bestselling books, and joins us today to explain the low to no pain path you can take towards bragging your way to a fruitful future. BRAGG: Behave like the person you want to be, Resist the urge to quit, Accept no limitations, grow your Gift, add Gratitude.

Let's brag without being total jerks.

So who wants to be my bragging buddy? I can't say it comes with a lot of perks, but i'll be your friend forever!

  • Online Anecdotes with Bill Williams
    Dec 10 2024

Our largely wireless world offers us the ability to choose which things we care about, and then share them with others. If you looked at all you have shared, what would you be: A photographer, comedian, educator, creator, cynic, idealist, radical, or something else entirely?

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Bill Williams. Bill has a thought of the day email which he has been sending out for over 30 years now. With some help from big names like Jack Canfield: Bill has started to compile all of the jokes, stories, anecdotes, and contributions into a series of books. He'll share some of the jokes, some of the touching stories, and a bit of the history that went into this decades long hobby of his. And speaking of other internet humor, I was recently on the Paddy Wagon Podcast with Mike; the host. It was a fun time, discussing our misadventures and miscellaneous stories. Go check that out for some quality entertainment.

  • Emergency Medicine with Josh McConkey
    Dec 3 2024

The life of an emergency room doctor is often deified in modern media, alongside excess personal drama and absurd procedures in obscure locations. That's not to say it's ever boring, but it's seldom portrayed well.

Welcome to the Just Dumb Enough Podcast. A show that acknowledges no one is always an expert, by dispelling misconceptions with real experts.

My guest today is Josh McConkey. With a medical doctorate, a professorial background at a prestigious university, being an award winning author, and carrying a military rank, I'm at a loss for what title I use for Josh. We talk about the differences between academic medicine, how the job actually works when everything goes wrong in an ER, and the hefty differences faced by those deployed in active war zones.

    ( Www.WeightBehindTheSpear.Com ) ( https://a.co/d/4g2zV6w will take you to: Www.Amazon.Com "Be The Weight Behind The Spear" )

Let's thank our hard working doctors.

I'm probably going to attempt an episode with all the healthcare people I know just sharing our wildest stories. Would that be fun for you all? Let me know in the comments.

In other news... December is officially here, and the new ranking are as follows:

    1. The United States, with Nevada, Texas, and New Jersey off to a great start. 2. The United Kingdom, with England and Scotland all tied up. 3. Ghana, making their numbers known. 4. Canada, with Ontario at the head. 5. Ireland, just barely beating Australia.
