  • Storm Wilson Talks Showmance with Maria-Grace Cook | Deal or No Deal Island S2 E4 Exit Interview
    Jan 30 2025

Each week on the Jack Vita Show, Jack sits down for an exit interview with the most recent eliminated contestant from NBC's Deal or No Deal Island. This week, he speaks with the fourth contestant eliminated, 25 year-old Austin native Storm Wilson.

Storm was eliminated Tuesday night, when Dickson Wong defeated the banker and banked the highest total in Deal or No Deal history. While he had promised Dr. Will that he would send C.K. home, Dickson went rogue and threw a curveball that the entire cast could not see coming. In a shocking turn of events, Storm was sent packing, ending his time on the Banker's Island.

Storm visits the Jack Vita Show to discuss his time on the island and attempt to explain what exactly happened in Tuesday night's episode. Why was Storm targeted? Did his elimination have any correlation to his showmance with Maria-Grace Cook? Why did Storm think a showmance wouldn't paint a target on his back? Who was Storm working with, and who would he have targeted had Dr. Will selected him to play the banker instead of Dickson? What were some things that weren't shown on television, that Storm was surprised to see didn't make the air? Was Storm surprised that he didn't get more screentime? What was Storm's strategy? Did he and Phillip bond over being fellow Austin natives? All this, and more, in a very telling exit interview!

  • Deal or No Deal Island S2 E4 "Throw and Tell" Recap with Stephanie Mitchell | DONDI Season 2
    Jan 29 2025

Every single week, Deal or No Deal Island Season 1 contestant Stephanie Mitchell joins the Jack Vita Show to recap the week's episode of Deal or No Deal Island! This week, Stephanie and Jack break down the fourth episode of Deal or No Deal Island, S2 E4, "Throw and Tell".

The intensity continues to ratchet up, as this week saw the season's first blindside. Dr. Will finished first in the excursion, giving him the power to decide which player will face the banker at the temple. Will made a deal with CK at the excursion, promising not to select her to face the banker. CK had been very vocal about the fact that she was targeting Will, so while Will had made a promise to keep CK out of elimination, he still wanted her eliminated from the game. Meanwhile, Dickson wants to play the banker, and makes his pitch to Dr. Will for why he should. He tells Dr. Will that he will knock CK out if he were to win.

Dickson secures the highest case total in the history of Deal or No Deal Island, adding $5 million to the prize pot. In doing so, he defeats the banker and lives to see another day. In a shocking turn of events, Dickson sends Storm home, putting the end to a short-lived showmance. Earlier in the episode, Storm coupled up with Maria Grace.

Stephanie and Jack debate whether Dickson made the right call, or if he showed his cards too early. Did Dickson raise his threat level? All this, and much more, on the Jack Vita Show!

  • Deal or No Deal Island S2 E3 "Chain of Command" Recap with Kim Mattina, Stephanie Mitchell | DONDI
    Jan 23 2025

Every single week, Deal or No Deal Island Season 1 contestant Stephanie Mitchell joins the Jack Vita Show to recap the week's episode of Deal or No Deal Island! This week, Stephanie and Jack are joined by Season 1 contestant, Kim Mattina!

Kim made her presence known through her four episodes of DONDI S1. She was labeled "the biggest threat in the game" by Boston Rob Mariano. The threat she posed to the Survivor winner eventually spelled an end to her time on the Banker's Island, but Kim is a longtime viewer of reality television and is one of the most knowledgeable contestants across all reality competition shows. Kim is here to break down the latest episode of DONDI S2!

This week on Deal or No Deal Island, 65 year-old Rock Carlson was eliminated, after he was selected to play the banker by Parvati Shallow. Parvati and Phillip once again placed first in the excursion, giving them the power. Phillip allowed Parvati to take the lead, and Parvati chose Rock, but not without putting on a display of emotions that she was brokenhearted over the decision, something that Phillip seemed to find alarming. With a handful of contestants up for elimination, including Australian Survivor winner David Genat and Big Brother winner Dr. Will Kirby, Rock did not reveal who his target would have been, had he defeated the banker. Rock accepted a deal from the banker with a 75% chance of survival, but unfortunately for him, his case held the high value of $1.34 million, and he was promptly eliminated.

Earlier in the episode, Dr. Will reveals to the entire cast that Parvati was previously on Survivor. This revelation looks like it has stirred the pot and will be a source of conflict and drama moving forward!

Kim, Steph and Jack walk you through the entire episode and discuss it all on the Jack Vita Show!
