Israel's War On Terror Episode 12

  • Summary

  • In the latest episode of The Sun's 'Israel's War on Terror' podcast, we hear from one of the 'voices of the conflict', Egyptian author Dalia Ziada.

In the wake of the Hamas terror massacre of October 7 2023 in southern Israel, in which 1200 people were murdered and around 240 others were taken hostage, anti-Semitism soared.

Instead of sympathy for the victims, many people on social media and commentators on the Middle East, failed to criticise the terrorists despite the sickening details of the atrocities. Ziada explains how she was forced into hiding for siding with Israel and daring to criticise Hamas.

Her comments come amid fears the region is on the brink of a wider conflict with Hezbollah increasing its attacks from Lebanon and Israel purportedly behind the assassination of a Hamas leader in Beirut.

Author and counter-terror expert Samuel Katz explains how the situation may develop from here.
