  • Kia ora everybody. Welcome back to another episode. This week I’m speaking to Riley Hathaway. Riley is one part of the father daughter duo that run the organisation Young Ocean Explorers. Young Ocean Explorers is an interactive website aimed at education on all thing's oceans. The content is created for teachers to fit in with the school curriculum and share with their students, but it’s accessible by anyone and I can almost guarantee everyone will learn something from it. The platform is totally free, Riley jokes about how they have created the worst business model – the content is great quality and it is very generous to have access to it without charge. It just goes to show that Riley and Steve are in it for the right reasons. Riley is so hopeful. She is incredibly trusting in kids and their ability to influence their parents and older generations. As they should, the future is theirs. Riley’s approach is perfect for the audience she is targeting. Incredibly bright, future-thinking, knows how to get kids excited about making a difference.
