S2, E7 - In Service To The Truth Within Our Sexuality, with Claire Darnell, Embodiment Mentor & Podcast Host.

This week, join yours truly as I share a short episode about my coming into awareness and journeying with my own sexuality.

For me 'coming out' was a wild initiation, an invitation to step into more truth and honesty than ever before. I had always considered myself as an open minded person, but still subjected myself to judgement and paranoia as I struggled to come to terms with the change that my queerness was about to bring.

And transformation is what it has brought, embracing my sexuality has been a homecoming, stepping into more resonance with my authentic self than ever before, it has been a permission slip, allowing me to remove societal restrictions, connect more deeply and honestly with others and heal parts of me that were just waiting for me to step into my truth.

I share this journey, because I know there are others who may be curious, or embarking upon their own journey. I trust that in sharing my story, you might come to understand, you are not alone, and you can live a life that's more aligned with your hearts truth and desires, you can move beyond shame and allow yourself the privilege of change and transformation.

As always, if you have been impacted by what you have heard in the episode, don't hesitate to reach out to me via my socials @iamclairedarnell on instagram, or via email if that's not your thing via info@clairedarnell.com

Most of all, take care and move slowly, you dont need to rush these things and be gentle with your beautiful heart.

    So much love

S2, E6 - In Service To Fashion, Freedom, & Finding Your Joy, with Jules Hawksworth

What an episode this is, join me and Jules as we talk Arts, Culture, Fashion, Motherhood and Finding yourself on the Dancefloor.

Having been a Fashion Historian for much of her life, Jules invites us to review our idea of what a woman in Academia is and should be. She challenges the notion of having to “tone down” your freedom of expression to be taken seriously, and is a well respected expert in her field. Jules is devoted to The Arts and sharing her passion for fashion, music and culture with others is a driver for the many projects she undertakes.

Jules is passionate about dance music and the UK club scene, which she’s been at the forefront of and loved for most of her life, she’s now using that love to ensure the future of UK clubbing stands a chance of survival. In addition to this, shes been a huge part of the infamous ‘Mums That Rave’ movement since its inception, and you’ll see her there on the dance floor, spreading joy at their events and reminding us all that we don’t have to hang up the raving shoes because we’re a Mum!

This episode is rich with Jules personal experiences of overcoming challenges within the educational system, juggling parenting whilst maintaining a sense of self, how she moved away from family in order to reassess her life, and how she came into resonance with what she really wanted for her life via embodiment practices and embracing creativity.

Jules is such a wonderful example of taking what you’re passionate about and making it your calling. I know you’ll find the discussion as inspiring as I did. And, we both hope to see you on the dance floor soon!

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to either of us, if you would like some support around anything we have discussed in the episode.

S2, E4 - In Service To The Divinity & Power of Art, with Marilyn J Fontaine.

This week I meet with Marilyn J Fontaine, an East London-based mixed-media artist and Creative Mentor.

We explore how she broke free from the 9-5, found spirituality, the esoteric, and created a life aligned to her natural abilities to teach.

It’s this journey that has led her to follow her hearts calling, to create unique offerings, connecting art, nature, ritual, community, and the human experience, each of which have become the foundation of her work with clients and communities, enabling others to access deep healing for over 20 years.

Marilyn’s work and offerings document the feminine aspects integral to her journey, all of which are heavily influenced by the rituals and practices of Indigenous cultures. Her art work embodies esoteric and cultural themes including human values and our connection and relationship to something greater.

This is an inspiring episode which reminded me that we all have an artist within, it’s about being provided with the right space and opportunity for us to tap into to our inherent creative power.

  • S2, E3 - In Service To Finding What’s Been Forgotten, with Steven Rosen
    Nov 16 2024

This week, I meet with Steven Rosen aka The Cockney Prophet, Author, Podcaster and Entrepreneur.

Growing up in a dysfunctional family in East London in the 60’s, Steven left school without qualifications, drifted into drug addiction and organised crime.

Seeking rehabilitation in 1987, with a bucket and a window cleaning squeegee, he began the long road to redemption, creating successful businesses, achieving financial success and security for his family.

Steven then began the profound journey of healing the trauma of his childhood wounds, discovering a gateway to his ultimate truth. And this path of healing has led him back to remember who he was supposed to be, to what has been forgotten, the gentle, open hearted and philosophical, man you meet today.

Discovering his love of writing via a Creative Writing class in 2013, he later released his memoir Lost in the Babylon in November 2022.

Join us as we delve into Steven’s spiritual journey of trauma healing and enlightenment, and what’s lead him to be in service to helping others discover their potential, and grow beyond their conditioning, limiting beliefs, and trauma.
