In Black and Light

By: Katie Moon
  • Summary

  • “Deconstruction” has become pop-culture. It seems like everyone everywhere is “deconstructing their faith.” And I say, rightly so! But, as a biblical researcher, I see a *nuance* missing from every major discussion/discussor of the subject: the nuance of *consistency.* Simply, there is a sloppiness when it comes to *how* we-who-are-deconstructing-our-faith are approaching the Text to arrive at our alternate conclusions. BUT, with a little guidance, we can do this smarter, faster, experience less trauma in the process, and, ultimately, find a new foundation worth REconstructing our lives upon.
