  • One of the greatest sophomore records in the past few decades of music was delivered to us in 2006 by a promising young singer-songwriter, Amy Jade Winehouse. Along with her co-pilots Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson, Amy took a departure from the sound of her debut album and went in a completely new direction...into the doo-wop, girl group sound of the 60s. This decision would prove to be one of the best moves of her career, a move that set the stage for her to create her master work.

    On January 10th, 2024 The Record Club kicked off the new year with our eleventh session, where we covered the incredible "Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse. This episode goes inside that night.
