Brian Christopherson and Mike Schaefer got together and walked through how the 4-point loss played out and why Saturday’s close loss was every bit as surprising as last week’s blowout to Indiana. The two specifically dove into the strong play from the defensive front, highlighting Jimari Butler and MJ Sherman in particular as the two had strong performances and really made life difficult on Will Howard and the Ohio State offensive line. Then it was time to give John Hohl his flowers for a shockingly good kicking performance that allowed the Huskers to add points instead of getting nothing out of its early game success. Finally they addressed the offense from the running game to the play calling. A few things were working well in the running game but not much went right through the air.
