  • “There’s a real element of humility in creating partnerships. There has to be a willingness to hand over control” -Tina Ellen Lee

The Human Hive podcast focuses on change making. And one great way we believe we can make lasting change for people and the planet is through the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

However, achieving these vital goals by 2030 will be very difficult alone. That's why partnerships, no matter how big or small, are so important for making lasting positive change for People, Places, and Planet.

This episode focuses on the theme of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals; the aim of which is to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.

During this episode we will hear from special guest Tina Ellen Lee FRSA, Artistic Director of UK based Opera Circus and producer of performing arts projects, youth and community programmes and documentary films.

We also find out how Matilda, a student at The Hive in the Dominican Republic, used partnerships to upcycle second-hand clothing and keep clothes out of landfill.
