How do we talk about science and uncertainty?

  • Summary

  • The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a wake-up call among scientists. Far from being regarded as an accepted authority, global public trust in science has been put to the test. This week, Nick Ishmael-Perkins is joined by Courtney C. Radsch, Ph.D., a published author focused on the nexus of technology, media and rights, and Dr Felix Bast, associate professor based at Central University of Punjab, India, to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on the public’s trust in science, how science can explain competing narratives in this new world and how science can rebuild trust in the sector given its changing nature.
