How To Recognize & Prevent Victim Blaming (Ep. 116)

  • Summary

  • Today's topic has been prevalent in the news along with in the fitness community recently and I wanted to share my thoughts about it this week. I've been a first hand witness to what domestic abuse looks like growing up with my dad and finally getting the fuck out of there along with my mom and sister in high school. We ended up being the bad guys because of the fabricated reputation he built for himself. I'll share all this along with how to spot common signs of victim blaming, trauma responses, and why we need to listen to victims.
