This week we're prepping for Oppenheimer with our first rankings episode, where we compare our top 5 Nolan films and dig into our least favourite. We also discuss the new 'Twitter-killer' app Threads in this week's "OK Boomer" segment.

This week we're talking about late 2000s - mid 2010s big studio comedies, from hits like Anchorman and The 40 Year Old Virgin, to underappreciated gems like Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and odd ducks like Funny People. We also discuss the future of the genre and if it will ever return to it's former glory. Mike gives an update on his painful watch of HBO's The Idol, and Ryan learns about the latest Miranda Sings/Colleen Ballinger scandal.

Catching up after some time off, we introduce a new segment called "Bullet for My Co-Host", where one host watches something awful so that the other doesn't have to, featuring HBO's The Idol. We also discuss two shows that have recently premiered--Black Mirror and Marvel's Secret Invasion, the new not-so-good trailer for Kraven the Hunter, the correct way to watch Oppenheimer/Barbie, and Mike shows Ryan a new TikTok personality test in "OK Boomer".
