• How can they call?
    Jan 30 2025
Where do you go when trouble comes?

Or confusion or uncertainty? When circumstances feel out of control?

From my experience, people call out to God in times of crisis. They either beg God for help or they raise their fists in anger and frustration. The interesting thing is that we need to believe God exists to call out to Him.

Romans 10 tells us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

He is not far from you; He is near and He hears you. Trouble comes to every one of us. The question is- when you cry out to Him, do you believe that He exists? Do you believe that He is good?

Call out to Him today. He is the only ONE who is able to help you in your trouble.

  • You Are an Ambassador
    Jan 29 2025
Have you ever had to deliver a message on behalf of someone else?

Maybe a friend said, “Send my love to the family.”

When you deliver messages like these, you’re acting as an ambassador—representing someone who isn’t physically there.

Well, God has invited us to be His ambassadors. What an honor. You and I get to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world where He is present in Spirit, but not in physical body.

Listen to the words of 2 Corinthians 5,

"For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are therefore, Christ’s ambassadors…”

The best way to represent Him well is to share the Good News. Take action as His ambassador today.

  • Sorrow
    Jan 28 2025
Sorrow comes to us in different ways.

Sometimes, the pain of this world walks through our door and sorrow settles into our souls. But, sometimes our own choices bring sorrow.

Psalm 16 tells us that troubles (or sorrow) multiply for those who chase after other gods.

The Hebrew word, right there, means pain or wound. Are you wounded? Are you in pain? Have you turned your heart away from the one true God and the result you’re realizing is sorrow?

He’s calling you home. Ask Him to forgive you, to heal your pain. He took your sorrow on Himself when He went to the cross. And He’s waiting to welcome you back into a relationship with Him.

  • Answer The Call
    Jan 27 2025
I’ll never forget my dad, Luis Palau, telling this story.

When he was young, his mother knew he was meant to be an evangelist. After much urging from Grandma, Dad finally said, “Mom, give me a break! I’m waiting for the call.”

    Well, what was her reply?

“The call?! The call went out 2,000 years ago!”

She was talking about this, a verse, Mark 16:15

“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

She was right! And you know what? It’s also our call, yours and mine.

But what will your answer be? Will you think today about the sphere of influence that God has given you? Who in your life needs to know that God is real and that He’s good? Do they know that God, who created them, already knows them and loves them?

Have you shared the story of what Jesus has done in your life with them? Do it today.

  • Yes, Even You
    Jan 24 2025
When I was a young man, my addictions and inclination towards bad behavior and bad relationships nearly destroyed me.

I was so far from God I never thought I would find my way back.

Maybe you’ve heard about Jesus before and thought to yourself, “He would never want me.”

You’ll never be perfect. God knows this, and He still loves you. So much so that He made a way for you to be close to Him. He sent His very own Son, Jesus, into the world He created. He lived a perfect life but died a sinner’s death.

No matter how far from God you feel, His love is so big, big enough to close the distance. He rose again, breaking the power of sin and death once and for all for everyone who will choose to believe in Him and to follow Him.

Give your life to Him today. He is waiting to receive you with that life-changing love.

Remember, there is always hope with God. This is Andrew Palau.

"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9

  • Who is beautiful?
    Jan 23 2025
My daughter recently went to a massive music concert.

60,000 people singing along, thousands of girls enraptured by the production, the lights, and the beauty of this musician. Each identifying with the stories she tells through her songs, feeling seen and known.

I couldn’t help but think about how deep the longing is to be known. To be understood and cared for. And how beautifully and quietly Jesus does this in people all over the world, all the time, every day, by His spirit.

He doesn’t have lights or production, but He speaks to our very soul.

And He says, I know you I made you I understand you And I love you Follow me

  • Start Today
    Jan 22 2025
Has anyone ever told you, “Today’s a gift…that’s why it’s called the present!”

Well, it’s a silly old joke; it’s a pun, and puns work because there’s some kind of truth to them, right?

If you’ve never made the decision to follow Jesus, maybe today is your day. The gift of new life, eternal life- it was purchased by Jesus, and it is offered to you today and every day, unfailable.

You can choose to follow Him as the Lord of your life. You can choose to give your heart to Him. Pray with me right now,

God, give me this gift of starting again. Forgive me, take away my wrong, cover me with the righteousness, the rightness of Jesus. Jesus, I believe in You, that You rose again. That You broke the power of sin and death once and for all, and I will follow You. And I receive this gift. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Remember, there is always hope with God. This is Andrew Palau.

  • Who loves the broken?
    Jan 21 2025
How easy it is to love what is beautiful, the powerful, the young.

We’re all naturally drawn to this.

But who loves the old, the poor, the tired, or the abused? When our bodies are destroyed because of age, or sickness, or addiction?

The Creator of the universe- He sees past all of these things. He alone has the power to heal, and to help, and to comfort.

He promises in Ezekiel 34 that He Himself will tend to His sheep. He will search for the lost and bring back the strays. He will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak.

Wow! Isn’t that absolutely beautiful? How can we not love Him for loving us in this way?
