Hollywood, Jung, and Healing: Tim Moriarty's Radical Return to the Church

  • Summary

  • Guys, I am so excited to share my conversation with Tim Moriarty with you! Tim is an actor who has been featured in House of Cards, Blue Bloods, and more. He was raised Catholic, studying under Peter Kreeft at Boston College, and even entered seminary! He eventually left the seminary and subsequently went through an intense time of spiritual dryness.

Tim began studying Carl Jung, which set him on a search for truth. He began working as an actor and found success in Hollywood. Eventually, Tim's search landed him right back where he started—the Catholic Church.

He now makes films that showcase the beauty of Christianity and tell the story of our Faith. Tim’s most recent film, Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist premiered in theaters this past summer: https://jesusthirstsfilm.com/

We chat about how he worked through his wounds, Jordan Peterson’s connection to Carl Jung, and how tough but rewarding it is when you realize that you’re not in control, but God is. I can’t wait to dive in!
