And what divorce reminded me of is that strength is often seen in hindsight when you pass through things that make you feel incredibly weak and you can't possibly see a brighter day.

  • You're not In love, you are attached. Pt. 2
    Mar 22 2024

It's important to differentiate between attachment and being in love, as attachment alone may not necessarily indicate a healthy or fulfilling relationship.

Love involves a deeper emotional connection, mutual respect, and genuine care for the other person's well-being.

When you feel like you have loss a sense of identity and you don't know who you are outside of being in a relationship with them is an indicator of attachment. Your identity will shift through your life, seasons, ages and experiences so don't forget that. It should evolve. But all of us know that feeling of “I dont know who the fuck I am,” and if who you are is dependent on how someone feels about you, its because my friend, you are attached.
