In the summer of 1955, the Pell family from Birmingham moved into a newly refurbished house in the inner-city district of Ladywood. Eager to leave behind their previous cramped and dilapidated living conditions, they embraced their new home with optimism, hopeful for a fresh start filled with comfort and stability. But beneath the surface of their excitement, something dark and sinister lingered within the walls of the house. And soon, the family would face a tragedy far beyond their worst nightmares.
