    On April 26, 2010 Doug Stewart followed through on a devious plan that he hatched to take the life of his wife and the mothers of his two daughters. He thought that he had his alibi worked out and he believed that his plan was foolproof. It took investigators a couple of months to find the connective tissue and then the holes in the story but they did and ultimately his plan, that he said was to protect his daughters, efeectively ended the lives of both of their parents.
