• Episode 36 - Religious Hauntings and Borley Rectory
    Sep 27 2024

In this episode, we take another dive into religious hauntings.

One of our first episodes looked at religion and exorcisms. Today, we explore the infamous sightings of The Virgin Mary at Lourdes in France by Saint Bernadette, who was a local girl thrust into religious cult status after allegedly seeing visions of Mary in a small grotto. This location has since become a site of pilgrimage for Roman Catholics worldwide. Did Bernadette really witness visions of The Holy Mary?

Then we take a brief look at the phenomenon of stigmata and discuss whether devout Christians can really develop wounds in their hands and feet out of thin air that mirror Jesus' crucifixion injuries.

Lastly, we look at the notorious Borley Rectory, England's most haunted location allegedly. We hear about phantom coaches, ghostly nuns and a headless monk as we get back to all things spooky.

    Aug 30 2024

In this episode, we're back after a Summer off and we're diving headfirst into all things conspiracy.

We explore musical, outlandish theories, such as the Paul is Dead rumour. Was Paul McCartney of iconic Beatles fame killed in a tragic car accident in 1966 and quickly replaced with a lookalike to ensure the band weren't prevented from reaching global superstardom? Did remaining band members then hide clues to Paul's demise within their music and album artwork?

We then discuss the internet theory that Avril Lavigne actually died in the early 2000s just as her career as a pop punk princess was taking off and was replaced by her lookalike, Melissa.

We finish off with a chat about the conspiracy theory around industry plants within showbusiness, acts manufactured by corporations to earn quick revenue and to potentially keep the youth away from any revolutionary-leaning mavricks.
