  • REAL MONEY GAMBLING PODCAST 🏆 NOVEMBER 2022
    Nov 12 2022

    PlaySlots4RealMoney.com, CasinoSlotsMoney.com, Livedealerscasino.org, EasyMobileCasino.com & OnlineBlingo.com bring you the gambling news podcast.

In our first story this week, Australia is introducing facial recognition technology as a way to tackle the problem of gambling addiction. Currently, the tech, which employs Artificial Intelligence to scan guests' faces, is installed at the Warilla Hotel, but the plan is to roll it out across all gambling venues in the state of New South Wales in the next year.

The software will match the images in the existing database and will identify only gamblers who have been voluntarily barred from betting sites. The state believes that facial recognition will help curb gambling addiction which is a serious issue across the country, However, critics claim that the technology is a dangerous and invasive attack on privacy and that it undermines basic human rights.

Next up, some visitors to Apple's App Store reported last week that they noticed some curious suggestions as they were searching for new apps. It seems that, after the release of new versions of operating systems for iPhones and iPads, advertisements started to appear outside the "Search" tab, where they had been relegated previously.

An even bigger problem has been that some of the suggestions included inappropriate content for certain user groups, such as ads for gambling and crypto schemes appearing next to apps for addiction recovery or kids' games. After much protest, Apple has paused ads for gambling apps and similar categories of App Store products. Also, they have promised to fix the glitch, as they call it, as soon as possible.

In our next story, state lotteries in the United States come under scrutiny for predatory gambling practices. The next Powerball jackpot is expected to be among the largest in US history, estimated at around $1.9 billion. With jackpots rising, millions of people continue to shell out their dollars, purchasing tickets and dreaming of scoring the life-changing prize.

However, these dream stories also have a darker side. Critics say that state-run lotteries are one of the overlooked examples of systemic racism in the country. Lottery advertising and marketing campaigns use the lack of regulation in the field to target low-income communities, commonly made up of minority groups. Unfortunately, this practice is likely to continue as there seems to be no intention from government regulators to act on these issues.

In our last story, last week has proven to be rather fruitful for Las Vegas visitors as several players ended up taking home huge prizes.

One of the biggest wins came at the Caesars Palace, where one player scored a massive jackpot worth $200,000. The lucky winner nailed the massive prize while playing the Double Gold slots machine.

Other casinos across the Vegas Valley had their share of huge payouts, too. A visitor from Nebraska won the $11,420 jackpot on Thursday at the Palace Station casino. Another big prize came at the Rio casino, where one of the guests won $32,000 playing the Double Double Ultimate X video poker machine. Finally, a player at the Strat casino poker table triggered the progressive jackpot on Wednesday, pocketing over $25,0

  • Rock Paper Scissors Comes To Las Vegas Casinos
    Oct 26 2022

    PlaySlots4RealMoney.com, CasinoSlotsMoney.com, Livedealerscasino.org, EasyMobileCasino.com & OnlineBlingo.com bring you the gambling news podcast.

In our first story, the game we all loved and used to settle playground disputes is making its Vegas debut. The brand-new Rock, Paper, Scissors slot machine will be featured on the casino floor at the Circa Casino in Las Vegas. According to the casino representatives, Circa will be the only property in the world where the players will have a chance to test the new game.

The game itself was created by the Japanese-based gaming manufacturer, Azure Gaming, and developed for their Muso Curve 55HB slot cabinet. Rock, Paper, Scissors was first unveiled on the final day of the recent Global Gaming Expo, held in Las Vegas, and has already attracted plenty of attention in the industry, promising to be a big success at Circa.

Next up, Las Vegas is known for many things, but the Christmas celebration is certainly not one of them. However, that's likely about to change as Resorts World Las Vegas is looking to become the first establishment to offer some clean, family fun during the upcoming holiday season. The casino located on the North Strip will prepare an 85,000-square-foot outdoor Christmas spectacular in an effort to find a way to stand out among other top-tier properties in town.

The celebration will last from November 25 to January 1 and will include plenty of fun and exciting events. Among other things, Resorts World's Christmas Village will feature ice skating, interactive games, live entertainment, special drinks and treats, holiday shopping, and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

In our next story, the race for downstate New York casino licenses is heating up, and Coney Island is the latest potential landing spot to emerge. The seaside town is already known for its entertainment offerings, and a prominent real estate developer is looking to add a casino to the list of what this Brooklyn neighborhood has to offer to its visitors.

The New York-based real estate development, leasing, and management firm, Thor Equities, is reportedly preparing a pitch as it looks to land one of the three coveted downstate gaming concessions. The company already owns some major properties in the area, including the retail shopping district adjacent to the Cyclone roller coaster. However, the firm is likely to face some stiff competition, including the Mets' owner Steve Cohen.

In our last story this week, illegal gambling establishments have been an issue in Ohio for a while now, but the state seems intent to crack down on these operations. The latest news from Highland County certainly signals the state's determination to deal with this issue.

Last week, agents with the Ohio Casino Control Commission served search warrants on five businesses located in Hillsboro and Greenfield. This comes as a part of an investigation into illegal gambling activities in this area. During the execution of search warrants, the OCCC gaming agents, with the support of the local police departments, seized more than 300 gambling machines, along with cash and documents. At the moment, no arrests have been made, but the investigation is still in progress.

  • 🏆OCTOBER 2022 GAMBLING NEWS 🥇
    Oct 3 2022

    PlaySlots4RealMoney.com, CasinoSlotsMoney.com, Livedealerscasino.org, EasyMobileCasino.com & OnlineBlingo.com bring you the gambling news podcast.

In our first story, Mohegan Sun Casino & Resort in Connecticut has been named "the Best Casino Hotel" by USA Today. This is the fifth time in a row that the casino complex operated by the Mohegan Tribe has been recognized as the best gaming, entertainment, and leisure destination in the country. The resort, located in Uncasville, earned the title thanks to its design that tells the story of the Mohegan people and their culture, luxurious rooms outfitted with the latest technology, and other numerous premium amenities, such as a pool, spa, and fitness center.

This year, the USA Todays list looks a bit surprising due to the one glaring omission. For the first time in years, no Las Vegas resort has made the Top 10.

Next up, Macau casino stocks soared on Monday, as the city officials indicated the Chinese government is readying to open up travel and ease the Covid restrictions. After a rough two years due to the repeated lockdowns, this is finally a piece of good news for Macau casino operators, as now people can return in numbers to the world's largest gambling hub.

After the government announcement, US casinos stocks with Macau's exposure took off in Monday's market trading. The top two performers were Wynn Resorts and Las Vegas Sands, with a 12 and 11.7 percent rise, respectively. This is a positive development for the American casinos in Macau, which have been in a downtrend since the United States launched the trade war against China in 2018.

In our next story, the Philippines are about to shut down the operations of 175 offshore gambling companies and deport nearly 40,000 Chinese workers. The action comes as a part of the major crackdown by the government on the notoriously shady online casino industry.

The whole online gaming sector in the Philippines has been rapidly developing since 2016 as casinos saw the South-Asian country with liberal gambling laws as a perfect location from which to target gamblers in China where gambling is illegal. At one point, before the pandemic, Philippine offshore gambling operators had more than 300,000 Chinese employees. However, after numerous reports on criminal activities, including murders and kidnapping committed by Chinese nationals against their compatriots, the government had to resort to tough measures.

In our last story this week, Staten Island President Vito Fosella has invited interested developers and the New York State Gaming Commission to take a chance and consider this borough as a potential landing spot for the new casino in downstate New York. The Commission will award three Class III full casino licenses, and Fosella hopes that one of these will end up in his part of town.

As the only part of New York without any type of gambling, Staten Island would probably be a desirable location for potential developers. Fosella has already suggested a perfect location, at the site of the failed New York Wheel project. Sitting across from Manhattan in picturesque surroundings, this spot could easily become a destination with both gambling and tourist appeal.
