Today, Myra joins James to discuss her journey to real estate. She shares with us how she adjusted to the demands of investing in long distance real estate during a pandemic and how she pivoted to still be successful.
Myra Hoskins is a 1995 graduate of Alcorn State University has extensive experience in the Finance Industry. She is a licensed CPA in the state of TX, possesses a Master of Accountancy Degree and an Executive Education Certificate in Real Estate Investment and Development. She currently works with Houston Habitat for Humanity as its first Chief Financial Officer.
After achieving so much success in the financial world, Myra decided it was time to diversify her income by taking a leap of faith into real estate investment. Since entering the real estate industry in 2018 she has grown her investment portfolio to 19 properties located in three states valuing over 1 million dollars.
By establishing affordable housing for individuals and families, she also is building generational wealth for her sons Kelvin and Keyan.
