Do you remember the ignorance and idiocracy that ran amok many years ago? Well, I do, because I wrote a short blog about it, which is now a podcast episode.

How should a Christian even begin to try to decide who to cast their vote for?

Really, how should anyone who claims to believe in the Bible, God, follow Jesus, or even wear the title of Christian, Jew, Catholic, etc. even begin to decide who would be the best person on the ballot to cast their vote for?

Voting is your right, and it is how you express your values and show your support for what you want this country to become.

Freedom, as we know, is not free; and it can and is easily taken by those who would oppose it. But how could a citizen base who lives in freedom and claims to support freedom so easily hand that very freedom over to those who wish to take it?

Well, as Thomas Paine is quoted, “Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.”

But what if we are losing our freedoms one slice at a time? What if the very citizens are giving their freedoms away with each cut to their very comfortable and conformable lives and their desire for dependence over responsibility? What if a nation could quietly be put to death by a thousand cuts?

We will explain what all 10 of the Ten Commandments are, but our focus will be on helping each other understand the importance of a proper relationship between us and God, based on God’s commands.
