Euan's gone for a classic, as always, in Carnival of Souls, a very spooky and atmospheric film

And Fraser's chosen the Disney adaptation of Ray Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes", which is equally spooky and atmospheric!

It's time. for. Monkeys!!!

That's right, this is a horror podcast after all, and what's scarier than a monkey?

Okay, we know it seems like a bit of a silly theme, but monkeys have shown up in horror films from alllll the way back in the early 20th century. And one of our picks this episode is one of the earliest - an "adaptation" of Murders in the Rue Morgue by Poe. I say adaptation; other than a monkey, and some murders, there really aren't many similarities.

Then we have a bit more of a depressing, supernatural, slasher(?) in Monkey Shines. When a runner suffers a tragic accident and is assigned a helper monkey, chaos ensues.

It's a weird one, folks. Enjoy.
