Extra note on the pronoun translations in verses 8-9: The Greek actually uses a different word than the typical masculine pronoun, and the author uses one that is more specific to an individual (which is why translations like NASB and ESV translate "Namely, Jesus"). This doesn't alter the conclusion I came to in this episode, but it's very interesting.

In this episode, we take a deep dive into the first chapter of Hebrews. This chapter is often overlooked because of the many literary intricacies that make it difficult to see the main point for a western, Gentile audience.
