In Ecclesiastes 1:1, we hear, “vanity of vanities!

All is vanity.” The word for “Vanity” in Hebrew can also be translated as smoke or mist. In this Book, we hear a wise voice ask just why is it that bad things happen to good people, and how are we to learn to dwell in the mysterious reality that we may never fully know the answer to that question on this side of the veil. This powerful volume in the Biblical tradition teaches us maturity and illumination as we walk the path of wisdom.

Course Description:

In our lives, we face real fears, pain, and suffering. These things can feel like metaphorical monsters lurking in the shadows and mist of a murky reality.
