Being connected, especially in the body of Christ is extremely important. So we want to be connected to our church. It would surprise you how many people are paralyzed by fear and anxiety on a daily basis. Some people are not affected that much but others don’t know how to internalize external situations so that they can still function. When the Isrealites heard Goliath they trembled with fear. But David did not. Why? The answer is the Word of God. And more specifically, meditating on the love of God and his goodness towards us. A couple of months ago I felt like I was being oppressed by the enemy. I meditated and prayed some bible verses and got the victory. Recently one of my high school friends passed away. I spoke to him via text message was on Thanksgiving. I know he was in the hospital but I thought I had some more time to reach out to him but I was wrong. Only God knows when our time on earth is truly over so while we have an opportunity we should take it to make sure we share Christ to everyone we know.
