What areas are you needing to experience the peace of God?

- Inner life: Your Soul, conscience. Heart, emotions. Mind, thinking

- Relationships: Marriage, children/ grandchildren, co-workers, neighbor, friend

- Relationship with Jesus: Turning from sin and experiencing forgiveness. Surrendering all of life to Him.

Jesus says things like, you cannot serve both God and money. You cannot serve both. Why would he put money on the same scale as himself? Money will say things to you like, let me open doors for you. Let me make a way for you. Let me show “you where your value and your significance really is." Money will say things to you that only God is supposed to provide for you.

We were designed to experience creation, to know the Creator, to celebrate the wonderful things He has done. Not just complain about this life. In fact, the Bible tells us in Psalm 9:1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

God's call is often counter-intuitive. If you wonder, Lord, why did You call me to that ministry, or to that place, or to that group, or in this situation, just know that, sometimes God calls you to do something and has a little smile on His face when He does it.

The Jews had done it a certain way.. because it is the way they had always done it. And they put their hope in that. You ever put your hope in something, only to be let down that it is not exactly the whole kit 'n kaboodle?
