    Good morning neighbors, and happy holidays!

    We are honored to welcome renowned chefs C-Y Chia (they/them) & Shane Stanbridge (he/him), founders of the beloved Lion Dance Café, to the podcast this week!

    The shape and scope of Lion Dance Café has evolved many times since its inception in 2013 - from pop ups throughout the Bay Area, to their years operating out of a loft apartment, to a brick-and-mortar opened at the height of the pandemic - and all the way back around. Over their decade-plus in the Bay, they've built a huge following, in part because of their Michelin & James Beard recognition, but largely due to their perseverance, authenticity, and commitment to giving back to the food & beverage community.

    We recently hosted Lion Dance Café at Dolores Deluxe, and the turnout was a sight to behold! Watching them work through the line, I was taken aback by their professionalism, grace and generosity. I am so grateful for their time and insights, and look forward to having them back on our corner, if not for another episode, then at least for another pop up!
