In this episode, Cait is joined by Carly Heiser to talk through a beast of a topic...ensuring that your cat stays hydrated at 2AM….no, no wait….it’s capitalism, we’re talking about capitalism. It’s got its beefy tentacles into everything and can feel overwhelming to wrestle with - but this is a good enough start. Included is an overview of historical developments beginning with feudalism, with its appalling smells and incessant rain, through the modern era with its slightly better smells and a capitalist system on steroids. Then our co-hosts dive into some of the lies that capitalism tells us, and how we can operate in this system while hopefully moving toward something that works for more people.
