Episode 8 - 10,000 Faces of Apology - Cultural safety and Indigenous relationship to apology with Pulxaneeks from the Xanuksiala First Nation

  • Summary

  • Welcome to Episode 8 of the Sori Podcast. I am honored to introduce my guest on the podcast, Pulxaneeks, who is from the Eagle Clan of the Xanuksiala First Nation. She is the Founder / Facilitator / Visionary & Consultant of “Heart to Heart - Indigenous Relationship Consultation” where she calls upon her lived Indigenous experience to not only offer insight and understanding but also to enable us to discover what it means to come back into right relationship with our Indigenous Hosts & our own Ancestry.

Pulxaneeks inspires the connection to our deep ancestral heritage and the heartbeat of Mother Earth to enable us to hear the complexity of the indigenous story between us. How can we recognize the impact of colonialisation and collective injury and have the courage to stay with the discomfort so we can begin to build cultural safety and trust? What are the many faces of apology that are needed to be considered and how can we can take responsibility and action in this long road towards forgiveness?
