Hey folks, in this episode we sat down with local knifemakers John Phillips and Cameron Kite of Primeaux Custom Knives. Starting from a culinary background, John realized he could make better knives than those he was using in restaurant settings, and eventually founded his custom brand Phillips Forged. He later appeared on Season 6 of History Channel's Forged in Fire, where he was crowned champion. His knives are stunning works of art that are truly something to behold. Cameron has a background in music and fine arts, with a focus on sculpture. His ability to envision a piece of work before actually creating it has led to incredible art pieces, and most recently, incredible knives. His drive to learn the tools necessary to complete the projects that he conceives led him to design and build Primeaux's online custom knife builder.
