This week Joy and Laura discuss season 2 episode 8 “Crossroad Blues”. Sam and Dean investigate the lore of people selling their souls to the devil for fame and fortune, after two people report seeing black dogs just before their deaths. The brothers also finally get confirmation that their Dad sold his soul to the Yellow Eyed Demon in exchange for Dean’s life.

We discuss our thoughts on this episode’s show lore being based on a real person, how funny it is that Dean didn’t know what MySpace was, all of the different Demon eyes we have seen on the show so far, and whether Dean has become too unlikeable as a character.

We also debate the differing attitudes of the brothers when it comes to saving the victims in this episode, and to no one’s surprise Joy takes Dean’s side and Laura takes Sam’s.

This week’s Easter eggs are about Robert Johnson, misconceptions about Hoodoo, and black dog lore, including Norfolk’s Black Shuck.
