  • St. John's was able to bounce back from a tough New Years Eve loss to Creighton with an eight point win at home against Butler. An awful shooting afternoon could not stop St. John's as they found a way in the 2nd half much like they have many times this season. Kadary Richmond asserted himself in the second half and made sure St. John's would leave victorious on a day they honored Lou Carnesecca on the weekend of what would have been his 100th birthday.
