Song Yangqi, a film and television planner, tries to win copyright of an upcoming popular novel but then finds herself in a fan fiction world after being outraged that her favourite characters are in the verge of breaking up due to other love rivals. She lands in a body of Xiao Qi and is dumped at a scene that her CPs start to encounter cracks in their relationship, she has a mission to have a happy ever after that she desires for the main characters. She fearlessly prevents all situations that can tear them apart even if it means getting hit by a car or pretending to be in love with an overbearing boss and throwing herself at President Ji so there's no misunderstandings.
Ji Shu, an author of the popular online novel called Dazzling Stars: A Filmstar's Desire for Romance (where Song Yangqi's fan fiction is derived from), notice the sudden created chapters appearing in his novel that he didn't write. Trying to prevent this from further happening, he finds himself in the Jade Hall website and mysteriously gets sucked into the fan fiction world - landing in the body of President Ji (the character he created as his alter ego). He quickly discovers Xiao Qi is changing the plot from the tragic end he originally wrote.
As Song YangQi and Ji Shu fight for the outcome of the main characters Yu Le and Ye Xi Ning, a more pressing issue begins to unfold - how do they get out of the fan fiction world?!
