  • In this episode, brought to you by Ski Racing Media, Alan and I had the great honour of welcoming Ski Racing legend, Sarah Schleper to the podcast. Sarah shared with us her great experiences on the US Ski Team in the 2000's, when she picked up 4 FIS WC podiums and 1 victory. She also told us what Lindsey Vonn was like to work with and how a very young Mikaela Shiffrin quickly improved. Sarah, then informed us about her extraordinary path since retirement, that includes, marrying her husband, having her second child (her daughter), going to a further 5 World Championships and 2 Winter Olympics. When I asked, what are the goals for the rest of your career, Sarah responded positively about sharing the 2026 Winter Olympic opening ceremony stage with her son. She said that is the main goal for the rest of her career and indeed her 17-year-old sons. This is a truly fantastic story and I would definitely recommend a listen as we picked the brains not only of a champion but a very aspirational and positive person.
