  • Summary

  • Ray Finch’s appellate journey lands him back in Wilson County Superior Court where he will, for the first time in 25 years, look Chief Deputy Tony Owens in the eye. In order to make the most of this pivotal witness, Jim Coleman taps veteran defense attorney, David Rudolf. The showdown that ensues seems ripped from the pages of a Hollywood script. Just when Jim Coleman and David Rudolf are about to declare a checkmate against the State, the judge makes a startling declaration.

Unbelievable

My biggest issue in life is injustice, I hate it with a passion.
I listened to this podcast straight through as I needed to know what happened.
As it finished I went on to think of the people who lied at the time, those who knew what really happened and let this injustice happen. How did they live with it.
The psychology of people is so confusing, you get someone like Ray who kept his hope and fight up and with good grace and then you get those that knowlingly let it happen and lived with that for the rest of their lives.

One of worst miscarriage of justice

Such a sad tragic story. 43 Years for a crime he didn’t commit. My thoughts are with Rays family & friends.
