  • Summary

  • In the fourth episode of our new podcast, The Future of the Car we’re ducking inside the cockpit to look at the interior trims and fabrics that are making journeys more comfortable, stylish, and environmentally friendly. And to get a better idea of how our general approach to sustainable materials is changing, we dive into the world of high fashion and discover how big catwalk brands are changing their outlook. It turns out the fashion industry is facing many similar issues to the automotive business, and we talk to Alexandra Fullerton, fashion director at large of Glamour UK about some of the solutions they’re coming up with to tackle these issues. We also take a closer at Audi and the engineers that are obsessed with old bottles tops and fishing nets, and we find out how veganism is jumping off our plates and into our hotel rooms. It turns out that sitting on a pineapple, may not be as painful as it first sounds!
