  • My guest today is entertainment lawyer, podcast producer, and host of Entertainment Law Update, Gordon P. Firemark. Also known as The Podcast Lawyer, he's also the author of "The Podcast, Blog & New Media Producer's Legal Survival Guide" which helps content creators avoid some of the mistakes made that can become legal issues. In addition to having extensive knowledge as an entertainment attorney, Gordon has also worked in the industry as an audio, lighting, and special effects technician for theatre. He's taught Entertainment Law courses here in Southern California and served on various boards and organizations in both the legal and entertainment communities. Today Gordon and I will talk about his work in both Entertainment Law and in the industry, and I'll get his take on the Music Modernization Act which was signed into law in 2018.
