Emily is joining us with her debut novel Matia. When Sia emigrates from her village in Greece to Perth in the aftermath of the Second World War she is looking for a new beginning. Sia brings with her four Matia and four prophesies that will shape the lives of the women in her family. Across four generations Matia weaves the stories of Sia, Koula, Athena, and Clara as they seek to forge their own lives and stay true to their culture in an ever changing world.
