  • #007: Relationships, Depression, Surviving a Cardiac Arrest, and More!
    Feb 19 2022

He appeared in the first episode of Dynamic Conversations (together with another friend of mine, Filip), and he is back in this episode for more. Let’s welcome Marvin Flamme.

It has been a long time since we talked. However, we have known each other for quite a while. In fact, we met at a surfing camp in Australia, when I was 21 years old. Which was already 8 years ago (gosh where does the time go).

Over the years we traveled together to many places such as Australia, Iceland, Hawaii, Germany, Spain, Vietnam, and many others. On many of these trips, we worked together, me as a photographer and Marvin as the videographer, shooting for other companies.

While I am currently less active as a photographer, Marvin is still a full-on professional videographer/photographer.

In fact, he currently still runs Making Motion, the media agency he founded at age 20 back when he was still in film school.

If you ever need a media agency, definitely check them out.

Now, in this Dynamic Conversation, just like the others, we talk about a variety of different topics. Some of these topics include relationships and ways to improve them, dealing with depression, last wishes, crisis photography, surviving a sudden cardiac arrest, and many more fun and exciting topics that I hope you will enjoy!

  • #006: Things to Do in Bali, Growth, Mindset, Community, Traveling, and Much More!
    Oct 4 2021

Welcome everyone to a brand new episode of Dynamic Conversations. In this conversation I had the pleasure to welcome a good friend of mine all the way from Bali, Indonesia, Kasyfi Reynold Jr.

Before we move on to the conversation, let me give you a short bio about Kasyfi. For 3 years Kasyfi used to be the community and event manager for the very popular coworking place Hubud, in Ubud, Bali.

Sadly since corona they had to close their doors. That’s also where we met. Today Kasyfi works as the community manager for Slash, a company that builds remote, autonomous teams to help innovators develop software, products, and hi-tech startups.

Over the years Kasyfi has organized more than 700 events and workshops for entrepreneurs and remote workers. Trust me, when you want someone to organize an event or run a community, he is your man.

Some of the things we’ll talk about in this dynamic conversation are: our top 3 recommendations of must do/see things in Bali, growth, mindset, community, how to run a successful event, traveling, and so much more.

If you would like to learn more about Kasyfi and follow him on social media, check out the show notes: https://jellisvaes.com/2021/10/04/dynamic-conversations-ep-006-kasyfi-reynold-jellis-v/

There you can also find links to anything we talked about. With that, I hope you will enjoy this dynamic conversation with the one and only Kasyfi Reynold Jr.

Welcome, everyone, to a new episode of Dynamic Conversations—the podcast where I chat with friends of mine about a variety of different topics.

In this episode, I sit down for a second round with Asja Caspari, a talented fashion and portrait photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, who has worked with major clients such as Google, Audi, Rowohlt Verlag, and many more.

Asja has seen her work published in numerous German magazines and has had her work showcased in various exhibitions.

And this is just to sum up what an incredible photographer she is.

As all Dynamic Conversations podcasts go, it is dynamic. Meaning that both Asja and I bring up different topics at random and discuss them with one another.

Some of the things we talk about in this conversation are: how Asja makes her models feel good, calm, and confident during photoshoots; what is the Flow State; how to not get discouraged when you first become self-employed; meditation; whether or not to use your phone immediately upon waking in the morning or right before going to bed; the victim mentality; and many more topics brought up in our conversation.

Welcome to another dynamic conversation. The podcast where I chat with some of my interesting, smart, and fascinating friends about a variety of different topics.

In this conversation, I have invited Rich Ayling, a former Wim Hof instructor, certified yoga teacher, life coach, and the founder of Re-Align Coaching where he offers one-on-one coaching and mentorship, courses, and live events.

Some of the things we talk about in this episode are how to make tough decisions, how to deal with haters or people who dislike you, the search for meaning, and a few more topics you’ll soon come to discover yourself.

If you’d like to check out Rich’s work or read about his personal story and how he overcame his auto-immune disease, have a look at his website at www.Re-Align.co. Also, be sure to follow him on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/richrealign/.

One last thing, Rich also has a YouTube channel where he has posted, among other videos, a very interesting series called “A Depth of Connection,” where he invites guests to talk more in-depth about who they are and to share their life journey, as well as what these people are teaching. In the first season, he also talks with each guest about their response to the Covid situation.

It could be especially helpful for anyone listening to this to check that series out, especially during these challenging times.

Welcome to another episode of Dynamic Conversations, the podcast where I chat with smart, interesting, close friends of mine about a variety of fascinating topics.

In this episode, I chat with my dear friend Benedikte Koldingsnes, a vegan cook and founder of Norway’s first (and only) vegan food truck, Vegan Pop up Café.

Some of the topics we talk about here in this episode are our thoughts about open relationships and losing someone. Benedikte and I have both lost someone dear in our lives: I lost my dad; she has lost her brother.

We also talk about advice for beginning entrepreneurs and how to stay motivated while self-employed, how men and women practice self-love, how to deal with inner demons, the 4K Week Poster (a calendar where you mark a box for every week of your life—giving you an overview of the weeks you’ve already lived, and the weeks you still have in life), and many more fascinating topics.

All these are mentioned in this episode, which can be found below. And if you’d like to check our Bendikte’s delicious food, you can do so on her Instagram, Facebook, and of course, her website.
