Arjun asked mother Kuntee to see what they had brought as bhiksha. Without even looking at what Arjun had brought, Kuntee replied that whatever it is, all the brothers should get it. When Kuntee saw Draupadee, she was shocked and sorry at what she had spoken. She asked Yuddhishthir to think it over and take a decision. Yuddhishthir thought over the matter and asked Arjun to go ahead and marry Draupadee. Arjun, however, objected and said that he could not marry till his elder brother was unmarried. There was silence after this. Draupadee was looking at the five brothers and the brothers were looking at her.
