  • Episode 7 - Andrew Fyfe
    Apr 15 2022

Welcome back after a longer than intended break.  I’m delighted to introduce you to Andrew Fyfe, Head Chef and Owner at Orrin in Elgin.  In this episode Andrew talks us through his career in the hospitality industry. An industry that has historically been known for its unsociable working hours, challenging conditions and a serious lack of support in the mental health department.

Andrew is changing the face of hospitality in his home town of Elgin in the North of Scotland with the experience and lessons he’s learned along the way.

This is an incredible powerful episode, which at points is brutally honest.

You’ll find all the details for Orrin in the following places

  • Episode 6 - Discovering Lou
    Oct 22 2021

So here it is - my own story or at least a snap shot of it.

In this episode I talk about a few topics that may trigger some people. These topics include panic attacks, PND, anxiety, miscarriage and also Alzheimer’s.

11 years ago I was placed on a path I had never intended to travel but that path has lead me to the most beautiful, full and happy life. There is no part of it I would change and the best part….. I get to continue writing the chapters any way I like.

Special thank you to the ever lovely Sarah Gear for interviewing me for this episode - her voice is like liquid velvet.

This is a long episode - a bit of a commitment so if you’re listening until the end - thank you!

Please share this episode with anyone you think it may help or benefit to hear.

The page I talk about on Facebook is still there is you want to check out any of my writing. It’s called Discovering Lou.
