In this episode I will go over some of the changes you are seeing in this podcast, but then I will talk about Psalm 23, and how God disiplines those He loves. I hope that learning this quality about the Lord helps you to understand why you may be having difficulties in your life. I pray that this brings you hope that the Lord loves you and just wants what is best for His children.

Hello! This podcast is going to be going through some changes going forward, and I wanted to be transparent with you all on what that is going to look like. 

In this episode, I talk about the New Age religion and how you can spot it here in the USA & in our churches in a variety of ways. In this episode I go over the following main points:

1. How the New Age spread widely in America
2. What are the main things New Agers believe about
   1. God
   2. Salvation
   3. People & the afterlife
3. What the Bible says about these practices and beliefs
4. Ways the New Age is in our churches
5. How to spot a New Ager with these beliefs, and key words to look for when talking with someone.
6. Karma, Astrology, and reincarnation

Hopefully this will help some people open their eyes to see how this sneaky religion and beliefs creep their way into our lives and practices, and hopefully help you open your bibles to read what God says about these practices. My goal is to help you learn more about God and who He is and, if needed, repent and come back to the one who truly loves you.

Does the "being good" culture that we live in today hinder the Gospel message? Is it enough to just be good, and that all roads lead to God? We will talk about these questions in this episode!

How is Roman Catholicism and Bible-Based Christianity different? What do they believe and why? Hopefully in this episode I'll be able to at least start you on a path of researching these things for yourself, and get a better understanding in how these 2 sects of Christianity are different.

In this episode, we will tackle the importance of the practice of sitting in silence with God. We will also talk about meditation, and what the bible describes as meditation vs. what some of the secular self-help and new-age practices say about it. Hopefully this will be helpful for you to decide to put some time in your life on a daily basis to spend time with the Lord in silence.

Taking the time to look at our true state can be hard to swallow sometimes. But when we truly look at our past, hurts and hangups in our lives, we can find freedom in Christ.

This is the kick-off to my podcast. This is the first episode of 3 in a series I've called "The Why Series". These episodes will be about why I started this podcast, and what the Lord has done in my life to bring me to this place. My first reason? To share the Gospel!
