They take a look at the five characteristics of the schema and how being strong and resilient is important in order to survive in our society, but also how it can be a detriment to our mental and physical well-being, especially if we do not seek help in managing our stress.

    As they move into the episode topic, Desiree & Benita discuss the difference between perception and perspective (yes, there is a difference), the challenges of changing your perspective, and how to shift your perspective from negative to positive.
