Crystal Jordan is a trailblazer in women’s empowerment, a fierce advocate for autism acceptance, and the founder of Sistahood Publishing and Zachariah’s World. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, her journey into advocacy and publishing began with her early passion for creativity and design, which she pursued at Bauder College. Her life’s trajectory took a transformative turn when her son, Zachariah, was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at age two. This experience propelled her to share her family’s story courageously, fostering awareness, and challenging misconceptions around autism.

Her journey led her to write Just Like You, a book that breaks down barriers and encourages understanding for children with autism. With a focus on love, resilience, and advocacy, Crystal also founded Zachariah’s World, a platform celebrating the unique gifts of children with ASD. Her mission to normalize autism and foster inclusion has touched lives locally and globally.

Crystal’s passion for helping others extends to Sistahood Publishing, a company created by a woman for women. Motivated by her experience as a single mother and her son’s journey, Crystal established Sistahood Publishing to increase diversity among Black female authors, giving them a platform to share their stories and secure financial independence. Sistahood Publishing helps moms and aspiring authors publish stories that leave a lasting legacy, creating a path for new authors to proudly share their work.

Whether through Becoming Her Magazine, Sistahood Publishing, or her work in autism advocacy, Crystal’s impact radiates through every endeavor. “I am just a mom on a mission trying to normalize Autism,” she shares, inspiring countless individuals through her advocacy and empowerment-driven work.
